- When I first listened to ‘That Blues Band’ I really liked the song ‘Take it Easy’. I immediately thought of really good ideas for the narrative. Since I knew the lead singer I would be able to video them performing and also include a narrative. Peter and the band gave me permission to use his song.
- My first ideas for the video was two people, one laid back and the other uptight, and various routines going on and one getting really stressed out and the other not caring.
Target Audience:
- The target audience will range from 15 – 30+. The reason for this is because their music is liked by a range of people. A lot of young people go to their gigs.
Technical Criteria
- I will maintain a steady shot throughout the video, I might have some hand held shots when i am filming the performance.
- The lighting will be natural all the way through. I will not be filming at night so i will not need extra lighting so it will be clear on the camera.
- I will also be doing a range of shots in the video to make the video more interesting instead of repeating shots. I will also be making sure the editing is good so the video fits together nicely.
- The costumes of both characters will be different so the audience knows what kind of character they are. The busy body will wear glasses and a smart suit. The laid back one will be wearing a suit with his shirt un-tucked and his tie loose.
- Lip syncing is very important in music videos. In all the shots of the band i will try to lip sync every word, so it fits together nicer.
