Target Audience Research

To decide on the videos target audience i used the bbfc website. I first looked at U rating, 'suitable for audiences aged four and over' and content should be allowed to be viewed by a young child alone. I also looked at a PG rating, parents are advised to decide whether the content could upset young children.

I think it is safe for me to put the rating for my video PG. The message underlying my video is that you can still achieve things even if you are laid back in life. This could teach children to think that they don't have to try and they could become lazy. I think that their parents should watch the video for themselves to decide whether they are allowed to watch it on their own. Some parents wouldn't think the video is suitable for their children so my rating is PG.

Even though the rating of my video is PG my video will be aimed at 15 - 30+, since their music is liked by various types of people. A lot of young people turn up at their gigs as well as older people.
